The Student Services staff at VIS include the ESL and SEN Coordinators who have training
in relevant education specialties. Student Services staff are available to assist children with
identified special educational needs, such as mild learning or social difficulties. Student
Services staff also act as Resource Teachers for students with learning or behavioral
problems, working regularly with the child's classroom teachers to address special needs. The
Student Services Coordinators are responsible for keeping confidential records and for
developing individual plans to assist with any child at risk.
