The VIS School Board has mandated that the school become an IB World School and implement all three programs. During the 2006-07 school year VIS received candidate status for the IB Diploma Program and the IB Primary Years Program. During the 2007-08 school year VIS will undergo formal authorization for the IB Diploma Program and will do the same for the Primary Years Program in 2008-09. Inevitably there will be changes/revisions to these timelines due to availability of IBO staff for authorization visits. The most up-to-date curriculum information is posted on the VIS website. Parents who wish to have information about curriculum should visit the website periodically.
