In the event of an emergency evacuation or a school closing, each homeroom advisory teacher will contact those students who are the youngest in their family. This is to make sure parents will know what to do and where to pick up their children. The normal evacuation gathering point for students is in the VIS car park. Should closing school be necessary, the Director or other appointed administrators will contact all homeroom advisory teachers who in turn will contact the youngest family member in their class.
