Vientiane International School

The school has emergency evacuation procedures which are practiced regularly and reviewed annually.  Each room in the school contains a diagram demonstrating the proper exit should an emergency occur.  Teachers practice these procedures with their students and the school holds regular all-school emergency evacuation drills throughout the school year.  Initially, enough drills are conducted in the first term to satisfy the administration that everyone understands the procedures; thereafter drills can be held three times during the rest of the year.

It is essential that parents maintain updated home and emergency addresses and contact phone numbers in the school office for use in an emergency.  PARENTS/GUARDIANS MUST NOTIFY THE OFFICE IMMEDIATELY IF THEIR ADDRESS AND/OR PHONE NUMBER CHANGES.
