The Dragon Cafe at VIS offers an excellent hot lunch program catered by Full Moon Cafe. The fixed menu is published in the school's weekly newsletter, Dragon Tales (downloadable here ) and as a separate download (available here ) in the Canteen section of the Downloads Area. Parents or students may purchase lunch tickets in the cafeteria during the morning break and lunch periods. Alternatively, students may bring their lunch from home. Students who have their lunches delivered can pick up their food at the main gate. Family helpers are not allowed onto the campus to "assist" students. Students are expected to eat with other children and clean up by themselves. All students eat in the school’s cafeteria during two daily lunch periods. Primary students eat lunch during the first lunch period from 11:36 to 12:25pm whilst Secondary students eat lunch during the second period from 12:28 to 1:13pm.
