The Vientiane International School Board of Directors serve as individuals committed to the mission and objective of the school which is to challenge, inspire and prepare learners for life. The school's Board of Directors helps to ensure that as a school we provide a safe, respectful, collaborative and sustainable learning environment for not only students, but the entire VIS community. The Board of Directors guides the school in providing a high quality holistic education whilst empowering learners to be internationally minded global citizens, and enriching learning experiences through interaction with the Lao community and our international communities.    

The Board of Directors is comprised of 8 volunteer parents, elected by other parents of the school at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). For the 2010-2011 school year there are 3 vacancies on the Board of Directors. This is a call for nominations to fill these vacancies at the AGM which is scheduled for Wednesday, the 15th of September 2011. If you are interested in helping the school sustain its mission and meet its objectives, we welcome you to join the VIS Board of Directors.
