This year is the inaugural year for awards at VIS. The following awards have been established at VIS to recognise and celebrate the successes of our students. There are three categories of awards that recognise these successes.
GOLDEN DRAGON HIGH HONORS AWARD Criteria:
- Awarded yearly
- Students who have made Honor Roll in both Semesters in one school year
- Students gain an academic average of 6 with no grade less than 3
- The student has no below average Learning Behavior grades

VIS HONOR ROLL Academic | Diligence | Criteria:
- Awarded each semester
- Students gain an academic average of 5 with no grade less than 3
- The student has no below average Learning Behavior grades
| Criteria:
- Awarded each semester
- Students not qualifying for academic honors
- Students gain two excellent learning behavior
grades with no other learning behavior grade less than a B
