Theory of Knowledge CREDENTIALS Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education University of Regina Canadian Teaching Certification Laura Forgie, known as "Miss Laura" to the students at VIS, is from Saskatchewan, Canada. She grew up on the flat wheat-filled prairies where you could "see forever". Before coming to VIS in 2001, Laura taught Grade 7/8, Grades 3-8 Arts Education and Computers, and Grades 1-8 French in Canada. She also spent a year teaching English in Japan. Laura loves to see students "get it" when they truly understand something, and grow through new skills and technology. Outside of school life, Laura is interested in Middle Eastern dance, Tai Chi, aromatherapy, Music, Art, and, of course, reading! Laura has two cats, Zeke and Toes, also from Canada.
