Fiona Broadfoot joined our staff in January 2004, bringing over twenty years of teaching experience to our Grade 4 classroom. She has taught Primary, Physical Education and library in her native Melbourne, Australia, and also served for over ten years as a Deputy Principal. She has traveled extensively, and was awarded sponsored study tours in Cambodia, Vietnam and Japan.

Ms. Fiona, as her students call her, loves a good joke and can always be counted on to find the "up" side of a situation.

Fiona feels that learning from children is one of the best things about teaching. She adds: "The people you meet have a big impact on your life. Living and working in Vientiane is a fantastic opportunity to grow as a person and as an educator."

Important in Fiona's life is her close family. Photography is a favorite pastime, and she very much enjoys the many fine restaurants in Vientiane.
