Image Office Secretary

Mrs. Paramy returns to VIS for her seventh year.  Besides her usual secretarial duties, she is the main contact person between VIS and the larger Lao parent community.
Also, Mrs. Paramy is a great help in translating for Lao parents or visitors who come to VIS.

As part of her support assistance to staff, Paramy coordinates transportation for class study trips and other school activities; prints school ID cards for staff, parents and students; and secures visas, ID cards and work permits for international staff; to name a few. Paramy is our "go to" person when we need information about local culture and customs, resources, or contacts.

Paramy has studied computer skills and the English language locally. Prior to coming to VIS, she worked as a secretary and office assistant.  She likes working with computers and creating new documents.

Born and educated in Vientiane, Mrs. Paramy is married with three small children.  Her husband is studying IT and has his own business in the car and house rental services.

"My favorite things are cooking, singing and playing with my kids. I used to be a school singer and Lao dancer.  Learning new things is my favorite challenge.”
