Roslyn is an Early Childhood teacher with over 30 years experience.  She is an Australian, who proudly claims to be a country girl, growing up on a wheat/sheep farm in a large multi-generational family.

Roslyn and her husband Chris, who is Fisheries Program Manager at the Mekong River Commission in Vientiane, have four children and two grandchildren, all in Australia.

This is Roslyn’s second year at Vientiane International School and she is very happy to be teaching the Preschool class again.  Previously, Roslyn had her first international teaching position at the International School of Phnom Penh in Cambodia during 2001-2006.  She values this as a life-changing and professionally inspiring experience.

It is very important to Roslyn that she develops warm and caring relationships with her students, parents and colleagues.  She looks forward to developing a close working partnership with parents as their children develop a love for learning.  Roslyn’s philosophy of life-long learning is not just for the children but remains a focus for her own development.

Roslyn puts raising four children highest on her list of rewarding experiences and she enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, exercise and holidays by the beach.
