Parents are responsible for payment of all school fees, even if the fees are paid by a third party or are reimbursable to the parents. Payment for the 1st semester must be made before 1 August 2008 and for the 2nd semester before 15 January 2009. For students who enroll during the school year, the fee is payable within 2 weeks after enrollment date. Payments received after the due date shall be assessed a $100 late fee per student. If payment is not received after two weeks of the due date, the student will not be allowed to attend class until outstanding payment has been settled. Report cards and school certificates are only provided if all payments have been settled. Refund Policy Tuition and Bus fees may be refunded on a pro-rata basis for partial attendance of a semester. Request for such refunds must be made in writing. No refund for a semester will be given if a student attends more that 60 days of that semester for tuition fees and 30 days for bus fees. A $300 Administration Fee per student will be charged for any refund request. Board Policy Vientiane International School sets its annual fees based upon projected income and expenses. In case of severe financial problems, the Board of Directors reserves the right to revise fees or fee policy at any time during the school year.
