VIS is tobacco free, alcohol free, and drug free. Students found using such products on campus can expect serious consequences including suspension and possible expulsion. If a student is found under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or possessing alcohol or other dangerous substances, the student will be suspended from school and the parents will be called for a conference before the student may return. A second offence will result in suspension from school while the incident is investigated to determine possible expulsion from school. As well, parents and visitors may not smoke, consume or possess alcohol or other drugs on school property.
